NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a meeting of the Hayes County Board of Equalization will be held April 14, 2026 at 1:30 P.M. in the Hayes County District Court Room located on the second floor of the Hayes Courthouse, 505 Troth Street, Hayes Center, NE. The meeting is open to the public.
Following the Board of Equalization meeting, the Hayes County Board of Commissioners will be in session at 1:45 P.M. CT. Said session will be open to the public and the public is invited to attend.
Agendas for said meetings are kept current and are readily available for public inspection at the office of the Hayes County Clerk during normal business hours. Agendas may be modified at said public meeting to include items of an emergency nature only.

Road Maintenance Position
Hayes County Board of Commissioners is soliciting applications for
an immediate opening for a full-time and/or a part-time road
maintenance position. CDL operator’s permit, heavy equipment and
mechanical experience is preferred. Pre-employment drug screening
will be required. Applications are available from the Clerk’s office
